Description
Arbri Meçai completed a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Industrial Chemistry at the University of Tirana in 2020, where he developed a strong background in analytical, industrial, and environmental chemistry.
He later completed a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Barcelona in 2023, where his master’s thesis focused on carbon capture through moisture swing systems using amino ion-exchange resins. His research was centered on sustainable carbon capture technologies and adsorption systems for CO2 capture.
Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at IDAEA-CSIC, working on the recovery of critical raw materials from copper converter ESP dust. In addition to his academic background, he has industrial experience in several sectors, including plastics, paints, and the electroplating of precious metals.
