Angeliki Karanasiou
Description
Expert in air quality assessment, geochemical characterization, and source apportionments of atmospheric aerosols. She works on the carbonaceous fraction of atmospheric particles namely elemental, organic and carbonate carbon, and on emerging pollutants such as airborne micro- and nano-plastics investigating their emission sources, analytical determination methods, and health impacts. She is currently the PI of InChildHealth (H2020 No 10105688), FIRE-RES (H2020 No101037419) and TRACERS (PID2023-148914OB-I00) projects.
