Description
CSIC Research Professor. Responsible for the network of monitoring stations for atmospheric aerosol research. He has more than 25 years of experience in environmental geochemistry and atmospheric pollution. He has published over 450 articles in SCI-indexed journals and has supervised 15 PhD theses. His main research focus is on air quality and the chemical, physical and optical properties of atmospheric aerosols in urban, regional and remote environments. He is included among the ISI Highly Cited Scientists.
