#Science4Sustainability campaign
A survey was made to know how the staff commutes and 352 people voted. Barcelona City Hall lent the center its sustainable set of votation, with vases, cups and plugs. People had to take a plug from the cup of their neighbourhood or metropolitan area they come from and put it in the vase according to the mean of transportation they use. Most people use public transport to come to the center, but the bicycle and walking are the other most used means of transportation.
The race to Zero Carbon Footprint
The IDAEA Sustainability Committee did a travel survey in February 2021 to all IDAEA, IQAC, and CID staff. The objective was to gather qualitative data about the impact of pandemic times on sustainability (i) to understand changing travel needs and encourage greater use of sustainable travel modes, (ii) to report on our knowledge and performance about sustainability, and (iii) to plan transport infrastructure improvements and other sustainable projects.
