Razieh Sheikh
Description
Razieh Sheikh Ansari is a PhD researcher at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research of the Spanish National Research Council (IDAEA-CSIC) in Barcelona, Spain. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tehran and a Master's in Reservoir Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran.
Her current research focuses on simplified modeling of multiphase flow and geomechanical response for regional-scale CO₂ storage. Her broader research interests include multiphase flow in porous media, reservoir simulation, upscaling techniques, and the integration of geophysical data for improved subsurface characterization. Razieh has previously worked on enhanced oil recovery strategies, reservoir management, and the development of dynamic models for fluid migration and pressure estimation in complex geological formations.
