Currently working on the PhD project titled "Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in high latitude freshwater lake ecosystems."

In this project, our primary aim is to understand the POPs accumulation pattern in Greenland freshwater lakes. We want to quantify the POPs in the lakes' food web compartments (sediments and fish) and compare them across the physicochemical properties of the lakes. Additionally, we aim to study the historical deposition of POPs in Greenland lakes by analysing the sediment cores from three lakes which are uniquely influenced by humans and birds.
