Marianne Köck Schulmeyer

Marianne Köck has a degree in Chemistry, a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, both from the University of Brasilia, and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Barcelona. At UnB she has worked as a tutor in science and also as a researcher and junior teacher in the post-graduation program of the Institute of Chemistry. In 2008 she joined the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA) of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) in Spain, and since then, she has participated in 5 R&D contracts, 9 national and international R&D research projects (in the field of environmental analytical chemistry), highlighting projects financed by Spanish ministries and by the European Commission. Her main activities are focused on the study of organic pollutants in environmental matrices, on the study of environmental risk, and on the management of national and European projects. She has published 24 scientific papers (Hirsch-Index: 13), is a reviewer of several scientific journals, is a guest editor of the Science of the Total Environment journal, and a project evaluator and member of the Evaluators' Bank of the Fund for Scientific and Technological Research (FONCyT) of Argentina.
