Marc Marín García graduated in 2015 in Chemistry by University of Barcelona (Spain), and received his MSc in Analytical Chemistry in 2016 from the same university. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. studies at IDAEA-CSIC in Barcelona (Spain). He works in the study of the photodegradation of pharmaceutical drugs in river’s water through combined experimental methodologies of liquid chromatography, UV-Visible spectrophotometry, fluorescence spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The use of advanced chemometric methods for data processing will allow to obtain information on the process and the degradation reaction, the resolution of the photoproducts of the reaction, its identification, and the evaluation of the kinetics associated with the studied process.
