Current research interests include geological multi-hazard assessment and risk reduction, land planning, geothermal energy and hydrothermalism, and geological heritage protection, as well as field geology, physical volcanology, structure and dynamics collapse calderas, dynamics of magma chambers, paleovolcanism, and geology of the Pyrenees.
