PhD Student of Analytical Chemistry of University of Barcelona in the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research IDAEA-CSIC. The main objectives of my work in IDAEA-CSIC is to determine the presence through an analytical method based on liquid chromatography coupled to high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) and to estimate the chemical-ecotoxicological emerging risks of the microplastics (e.g. polystyrene) in real environmental samples. This research includes also the toxic behaviour of microplastics, especially metabolomics and cytotoxic effects in human cells.

  • PhD in Environment Analytical Chemistry (Since 2015) – University of Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain). Financied studies through FPI scholarship of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
  • Lifelong Learning Program -Leonardo da Vinci– (February 2015 – May 2015). Participation in a vocational-training project in the frame of E.U. “Leonardo da Vinci” program under the name “GREEN PROMOTERS”.
  • Master of Science in Environmental Chemistry (October 2011 – July 2014) – University of Turin (Turin, Italy).
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (October 2008 – December 2011) – University of Turin (Turin, Italy).
