I performed my BCs in Chemistry at Universidad de Valladolid (UVa) between 2017 and 2021. In this period, I engaged to a six-months internship in the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. I was enrolled in several projects related to the analysis of emerging pollutants in environmental matrices. I mainly worked with UHPLC-MS/MS. Subsequently, I pursued a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Barcelona (UB).
Currently, I am working in the CSIC-IDAEA where our focus is to develop new analytical methods to determine emerging organic pollutants in the environment and its human exposure. Personally, I am particularly interested in how chemical exposure relates to adverse health outcomes. We use the last-advances HRMS and non-target approaches.
