COPEPOBIOME
Effect of pollution on marine environmental DNA and copepod-associated microbiome
The aim of this project is to study the effects of environmental relevant concentrations of pollutants on marine environmental DNA (eDNA) and copepod-associated microbiome composition across a longitudinal and latitudinal oceanic transect. The field work will be performed taking advantage of the trans-oceanic surveillance project to study the concentrations, dynamics and effects of contaminants present in the upper ocean (atmosphere-surface water and plankton).
