Anna Marqueño Bassols

Anna Marqueño is a PhD student of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) developing her thesis at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA) at Cinta Porte´s lab. She graduated in chemistry (2008-2014) for the University of Barcelona and she specialized in Analitical chemistry with the master from the University of Barcelona (2014-2015). In 2015 she started the PhD entitled “Nuevas herramientas para la detección de disruptores lipídicos y obesógenos ambientales”. During the development of her thesis she has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in cell cultures used in toxicological assays and analysis of lipids, focusing on the analysis of lipid alterations in different cell lines produced by the action of a wide range of xenobiotics and endocrine disrupting chemicals and their mode of action, earning skills in mass spectrometry and transcriptomics (qPCR).
