I am a postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). I graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Data Sciences from the University of Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD) in 2013, I received a MSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Montpellier in 2015 and a PhD in Geosciences in 2019 from the University of Montpellier in collaboration with IDAEA-CSIC.
My research focuses on the hydrodynamic flow and transport in porous media and the quantitative understanding of flow, mixing and reactive transport phenomena from the pore to the regional scale. I couple numerical simulations and theory to understand the processes that control transport in heterogeneous porous media and to develop models for large scale predictions. These advances have direct repercussions to many environmental and industrial applications that range from energy to ecology.
