New study on the impact of toxics from electronic waste on human health

An international study, with participation of Ethel Eljarrat, has analysed the risks associated with the exposure to toxic contaminants used in electronic devices, such as wire protection, plastic structures, LCD panels, and circuit boards. These devices release plastificants and flame retardants, toxins that pose serious health risk for the employees who work in electronic disposal.
