IDAEA participates in the Marine Science Doctoral Degree of UB and UPC

The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) participates in the Interuniversitary Doctoral Degree on Marine Sciences, together with the University of Barcelona and the Politechnic University of Catalonia, which both coordinate de programme, and two more CSIC centers: the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC) and the Center for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB-CSIC).
IDAEA’s research professors who participate in the doctoral programme are Carlos Barata,Cinta Porte (Environmental Toxicology group), Jordi Dachs, (Global change and Genomic Biogeochemistry group), Joan Grimalt, (Geochemistry and Pollution group) and Sílvia Lacorte (Chemometrics group)
The main aim of this interuniversity doctoral programme is to ensure that students from related master’s degrees receive advanced training that meets the highest international standards. The programme covers six of the priority research areas established in Catalonia: environment, sensitivity to climate and climate variation, space, transport, materials and non-renewable and renewable energies.
