IDAEA participates in CSIC book “A global vision of the COVID-19 pandemic”

A report from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) collects in open access the results of a year of research on SARS-CoV-2.
The book ‘A global vision of the COVID-19 pandemic’ shows the responses and solutions obtained by the 300 research teams of the CSIC Global Health Platform.
The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) has participated with two different transmission projects. The first one, about the ventilation for reducing COVID-19 airborne infection, was made by the researcher María Cruz Minguillón from the group EGAR, who also made together with the researcher Xavier Querol and Asociación Mesura a manual for reducing the contagion risks. The other one, Cristina Postigo and Miren López de Alda, from the group ENFOCHEM, have focused on the early detection of the virus in wastewater.
