Publication Date: 15 July 2022

Deadline: 15 August 2022

The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) offers one post-doc contract to study the effects of pollutants in aquatic organisms at different molecular levels using Systems Biology approaches. The successful candidate will join an international research team working with cutting-edge technologies to study the interplay between the epigenome and the transcriptome in response to exposure to environmental pollutants. The position will be funded by EPIBOOST, an EU project that aims to elucidate the epigenetic responses of aquatic organisms to pollution.

The candidate must have a PhD in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Bioinformatics, or similar; and experience in high-throughput sequencing analyses, Linux, and zebrafish experimentation (desired).

Type of contract: Full-time contract for 2 years
Application deadline: 15 August 2022 (but open until the position is filled)
Contact researcher: Please send your CV and a letter of motivation to Laia Navarro-Martin (laia.navarro@idaea.csic.es), adding “Postdoc in Epigenetics” to the email subject.
