Application of advanced techniques of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, including genomics and proteomics, to various environmental pollution problems to assess the unintended impact of pollutants and their mixtures in organisms. Study of the mechanisms of action of xenobiotic compounds and their metabolism and toxicity at different levels of biological organization and representative organisms of the ecosystems studied (vertebrates and invertebrates). Design and evaluation of biosensors based on vertebrate receptors.
