Description<\/h3>\n

Her main research interests are indoor and outdoor air quality, exposure assessment (including personal exposure and inhaled doses), and impacts on health of air pollutants and other environmental and lifestyle factors through cohort studies and epidemiological time series analyses. Member of the Steering Committee of the Barcelona Life study (BiSC) cohort. She is currently the PI of RESPIRE (Canadian Government NFRFE-2023-00603) and HARMONIE (HORIZON-MISS-2024-CIT-01-02 Project 101238943) projects and the co-PI of EMMA (PID2024-159870OB-I00). Dr. Rivas earned her BSc on Environmental Sciences from the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma of Barcelona (UAB) in 2008 and PhD on Environmental Science and Technology (UAB) in 2015. After postdoctrral periods at the University of Surrey and King\u2019s College London (KCL, United Kingdom) and at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal, Spain), she joined IDAEA-CSIC in 2024. Supervisor of 6 ongoing PhD Theses.<\/p>\n
