Introduction

The 9th Scientific Meeting of the Spanish Society of Chromatography and Related Techniques (38th Meeting of the Spanish Group of Chromatography and related techniques) will be held in Donostia-San Sebastián, in the Miramón Technical Park, from October 28 to 30, 2009. It will be an excellent opportunity to discuss and share information and experiences, from a pluridisciplinary standpoint, on the developments in modern Chromatography and its related techniques such as mass spectrometry, spectroscopic and electrochemical detection methods and others. Specific attention will be paid to applications to the solution of problems of present concern for science and technology. The event will include an instrumentation exhibition, where new developments in Analytical instrumentation and modern testing methodologies in Chemistry and Biochemistry will be shown. Personal contact between users and manufacturers will be encouraged.
