Final conference of IWRM-net Scientific Coordination Project

The final conference of IWRM-net SCP will be held in Brussels on the 21st and 22nd of October 2014. The conference will bring all the research teams together to showcase their results to improve integrated water resources management in Europe. Moreover, this event will allow opportunity for exchange between scientists, policy-makers and water managers, and to discuss about the 2 following thematics:

  • Water and aquatic environment management: innovative solutions for adaptation to climate change
  • Socio-economic aspects of water and aquatic environment management.

These two issues will be tackled during two sessions animated by external experts and the Scientific Coordination Project (SCP) led by the International Office for Water, as you will read in the last version of the attached agenda.

This event is held in cooperation with the Water Joint Programming Initiative, which will launch its first Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda in Brussels in the morning of October 21st, and also at the occasion of the IWRM-net SCP final conference (end of the second day). We were informed that if you want to assist to the Water JPI meeting (on 21st morning) - see their agenda attached - , some seats are still available.
